Meet the Speakers:
Vince Londini Working with the firm’s Principal, Jason Otto, AACI, Vince leads Otto & Company’s Reserve Fund & Insurance Valuation practice. Vince’s practice centers on Insurance Valuations and Reserve Fund Studies. Vince's qualifications include an MBA, Post Graduate Valuation Certificate (UBC) and current enrolment in the Certified Reserve Planner designation with the Real Estate Institute of Canada. He draws on his diverse work experience including 14 years in the management consulting industry. Vince brings considerable experience with consulting, analysis, property valuation, process improvement, team management, operations, and training & development. Vince is a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (both AACI and P. App designations anticipated fall 2024). Tricia Baratta With a wealth of experience as a former Condominium Manager (RCM) and Condominium Claims Advocate, Tricia has been diligently serving condominium corporations as a licensed insurance broker since 2019. Her dedication to the condominium community extends beyond her professional role, as she has actively contributed to the CCI London & Area Board of Directors since 2015, serving as Education Co-Chair, Vice President and now the position of President. Tricia’s commitment to the greater condominium community has included her involvement in various volunteer roles, including the Ontario Education Committee, Ontario Caucus, and CCI Toronto’s Insurance Committee. While Tricia’s professional and volunteer endeavours keep her deeply engaged in the condominium community, she is also devoted to the well-being of her community in other ways. As a dedicated volunteer, she actively participates on the Business Cares Food Drive committee and the Fight to End Homelessness team, ensuring the safety and security of those most vulnerable in her community are top priority. Kristi Sargeant-Kerr Kristi Sargeant-Kerr, LL.B., LCCI, is a partner with Scott Petrie LLP Law Firm and specializes in all aspects of condominium and real estate law, including development, management, litigation and the purchase, sale and mortgaging of condominiums. She has extensive experience working with managers and condominium corporations across Southwestern Ontario and prides herself on finding reasonable solutions to their complex issues. Kristi is on the Board of Directors for the London and Area Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) and is co-chair of their Education Committee. She has also been appointed to the Advisory Committee of the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO). |
Sean Eglington Séan has well over a decade of condominium management experience and is well versed in all aspects of front-end management. Before recently branching out on his own with Eglinton Scott Real Estate Management & Consulting Inc., he spent much of his time guiding Boards and communities through major restoration and improvement projects, contract negotiations and dealing with the day-to-day operations of various types of condominium corporations in the London and surrounding area. He continues to enjoy his time as a CCI London Chapter Board member where his main pride and joy is the rollout of the annual golf tournament held every June. Prior to working as a condominium manager, he spent many years in the landscape industry after having graduated from the Landscape Design program at Fanshawe College here in London. He spent years in the landscape design, construction, maintenance and management industry. He often uses his landscape and construction experience to help create comprehensive bid specifications and to guide Directors through the often confusing and overwhelming landscape of contract and project planning. When not in the office or at a meeting, Séan prefers to spend his time with family, friends and tree lined fairways. |
Omar Khan Omar Khan is the market development manager for Normac, Canada’s largest insurance appraisal firm with a strong focus on condominium replacement costs coast to coast. Omar has been working in the condo space for over a decade in several capacities including, with a condo management firm, an engineering company specializing in capital projects for condominiums, and now at Normac. Omar has provided education sessions across several CCI chapters in several provinces including Ontario, BC, Alberta and Manitoba highlighting the important insurance appraisals, state of inflation and best practice in the industry. Additionally, Omar helped develop and deliver accredited insurance appraisal educational course for property managers in Ontario, which count toward credits through the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO). These courses ensure condo managers receive the most up-to-date training and are meeting their license requirements. He has also been part of the planning committee for the ACR conference in Calgary Alberta, that cities largest Condo conference.
