Understanding condominium corporation insurance is important in knowing how to run your condominium smoothly. That’s why it’s essential to learn about the fundamentals of what condominium corporation insurance covers before making any decisions. This course will introduce you to everything you need to know about insurance fundamentals and how they impact your condominium.
By the end of the course, you will be able to understand the basics of condominium corporation insurance and what it covers. You will also understand the differences between what the corporation must insure and what insurance responsibilities rest on the unit owners. It will also touch upon the differences between regular repair and maintenance and insurable losses. And you will be one step closer to earning your Condominium Director Certificate Program.

Tricia Baratta, Gallagher Insurance, Risk Management and Consulting
Tricia’s span of training has been extensive. Her experience as a former condominium manager, a restoration specialist and condo claims advisor have led her to her current expertise as Assistant Vice President , Commercial Insurance for Gallagher. Tricia was first elected to the CCI Board in 2015 and is more than familiar with all aspects of the benefits of the chapter. She has provided her expertise as an instructor both locally and provincially and as a writer. Tricia was awarded the Leader of the Canadian Condominium Institute (LCCI) in October 2022 by the CCI-N Executive. She has been serving as CCI London & Area’s chapter President since 2023.
