Construction Chaos: Managing Projects Without Losing Your Mind (or Your Budget)
January 22, 2026 - 11:30 AM - 02:30 PM
Join us for a dynamic and practical session where we walk through a real-life major project from start to finish. You'll hear directly from a panel of experts — including a Board Director, Property Manager, Engineer, and Contractor — who will share what works, what doesn't, and how they set projects up for success this January 22, 2026, starting at 11:30 am at the Sunningdale Golf & Country Club.
Major repair and replacement projects can be some of the most challenging and expensive undertakings a condominium corporation will face. Whether you're replacing windows, roofs, or restoring a parking garage — the stakes are high, and the margin for error is slim.
This case study-style presentation will cover:
- How to recognize when a project needs to happen
- When to call in an engineer (and when not to)
- What makes or breaks the quoting process
- Strategies for communicating with owners
- Common pitfalls during construction — and how to avoid them
PLUS: A Q&A where you can ask your burning questions.Whether you're preparing for a major project or already knee-deep in one, this session will leave you better equipped to manage the technical, financial, and human challenges ahead.
