CCI London presents: Responsible AI Use in Condominium Governance and Management
Join the CCI London and Area Chapter for a Lunch and Learn on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in condominium governance and operations.
Aaron Barth, Ph.D. (Western University) will be leading a discussion on AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including how they work, where they obtain data, and why AI tools produce hallucinations.
Madeleine Stirland, Paralegal (Scott Petrie LLP) will discuss the use of AI in condominium governance and management,including the Condominium Authority Tribunal’s Practice Direction on AI Use, relevant Tribunal decisions, and directors’ standard of care and liability under the Condominium Act, 1998.
Directors, managers, and owners are welcome to join us to learn more about where AI can be a helpful tool, and when to rely on the professionals.

Madeleine Stirland, Paralegal at Scott Petrie LLP
Madeleine Stirland is a licenced paralegal working primarily in condominium law. She enjoys working closely with Boards and managers on condominium administration, compliance, and enforcement, including matters before the Condominium Authority Tribunal. She joined Scott Petrie LLP in 2020 and became a licenced paralegal in January of 2023 after completing an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Paralegal Studies at Fanshawe College.
