Conflict Resolution in Condominium Communities

April 16, 2026 - 12:00 PM - 02:30 PM

Conflict is inevitable in condominium communities — but how it is managed can determine whether issues are resolved constructively or escalate into serious disputes.

This in-person education session brings together a condominium lawyer, professional mediator, and mental health specialist to explore conflict from legal, practical, and human perspectives. Designed for condominium directors, managers, and industry professionals, the session will examine common sources of conflict, effective communication and de-escalation strategies, legal considerations, and the emotional dynamics that often underpin disputes.

Attendees will gain practical tools to manage challenging situations, protect the corporation, and support their own wellbeing — while understanding when professional intervention is required. This session will intentionally bring together three distinct but complementary perspectives to address conflict in condominiums from legal, practical, and human-impact angles.
